Champaign, OH:  Tuesday Market Fun!

Good morning, lovely customers!!

As you know, the market is on break, this week, with no market pick up, this Thursday!!!

I typically open the market on Thursday evenings, for weekly ordering, but I am going to give you a few extra bonus days to start your ordering, for next week!!

I am leaving for a music festival in Maine, tomorrow morning, and I did not want to run into any issues with me being there, and any technical issues with opening the market on Thursday. Plus, I could also be having a ton of fun and forget…lol…so, here I am, opening it two days early.

Please do not get confused!! This will be for the market pick up on Thursday, August 15th!!!! If you get confused, and show up, this Thursday, there will be nobody there!!

Enjoy the remaining days of the Champaign County Fair, and your upcoming weekend!!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Berea Gardens:  Market news for Wednesday

Hi Friends,

I had a very busy week and completed some extensive orthopedic surgery on my Kia. This week I turn my attention to arterial bypass surgery on my Dodge pickup and perhaps a wrist replacement surgery on our Volkswagen…… so, I again will not be opening the store for pre-orders this week, but we have a lot of product that will be available to you at Wednesday’s market. I am including the list of what we will have with this email, but you will notice that all of the items listed show an availability of zero. We actually have pretty large quantities of each item and the zero is simply to prevent inadvertent orders going through the website. Please do not try to order off the website this week. We will have plenty of this stuff on our table for you to pick up.

We have a large quantity of some very good cantaloupe this week and also some of our superb Leelanau Watermelons. These are a very sweet, yellow fleshed variety that I trialed this year and will be adding to our crop list again for next year because they are so good!

Hope to see you on Wednesday.

Blessings,
Bob & Lynnita

Safe & Sound Soup Co.:
Check out my new hand soaps and refill packs! Each scent is refreshing and they are made with Castile soap to moisturize and cleanse with every wash! My laundry soap also now has a NEW look! My logo is printed right on the bag, and the small size now comes in 52 ounces instead of 64. It comes in several different scents, all made with pure essential oils! I created this laundry soap for people with skin sensitivity, and it only contains 5 ingredients! 4 if you opt for the uncented. It cleans your clothes using all natural minerals and Castile soap!

Calico Farms:
Did you know we use an organic heritage flour in all of our non-gluten-free baked goods? It’s true! It’s a pre-1950’s wheat that is milled super-fine from Sunrise Flour Mill, making it more easily digestible than other flours. We use it exclusively because it’s delicious, more nutritious and, as I said, easier on our GI system to digest.

Have you tried our teas? We have 4 organic herbal varieties available: Summer fruits, peppermint hibiscus, immune support & bedtime (one of our most popular). All are house-blended and fantastic whether enjoyed hot or iced…and iced tea season is definitely here.

Daniel Peppers and Spice – WELCOME NEW GROWER — Naturally grown chili peppers using only living soil and organic fertalizers. Peppers can be dried for later use, pickled or freeze for later use

Windy Bluff Farm – WELCOME NEW GROWER
we are a small family operated dairy farm located on a bluff on 30 acres overlooking the Cumberland River in Trousdale County in Middle Tennessee.
We sell our 100% all natural artisan goat milk soap, other natural products & hand crafted goods. Our all natural farm products are made from 100% all natural, wild crafted and simple ingredients. Windy Bluff Farms all natural artisan goat milk soap is approved by a licensed esthetician.
In season we offer some of our ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats from heavy milking and showing lines for sale that we have not retained. Our goats are managed as naturally as possible and free range on untreated pasture, during the day, under careful watch of our two livestock guardian dogs. At Windy Bluff Farm all of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are Dam raised and handled multiple times a day. Our goal is to breed and raise quality goats that exceed in health, conformation, milking abilities and friendliness; whether you are wanting to show, have a few backyard milkers, start a small herd or just have a few pet companion goats.

Rainbow Hill Farm: Apples are available this week, always check back now during the change in weather, fruits will vary.

Linwood Lamb: We are getting a lot of positive comments on our feta cheese and spinach lamb sliders. They come in packs of 6 patties, are great on the grill and are quick and easy to prepare. Give them a try this week.

We bring the coffee beans directly from Nicaragua and roast small batches in our home located in Lascassas TN. We have Beans and/or Ground Coffee available or can’t decide order our Sampler of all 3. Side NOTE: Flying S Farms LOVES our Light Ground Roast!

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse:
They say about perennial plants:
“First year they sleep,
Second year they creep,
Third year they leap!”

Most of the plants you have purchased from Dogwood Valley Greenhouse, particularly in early spring, have been early second year perennials. They are beginning to creep, meaning slow and steady growth, and flowering for their first season, after sleeping in the greenhouse last year and growing strong root systems. But I have a good stock of many of my perennials right now, and would like to offer these larger pants to you, after a second season of growth, for the same prices as the younger plants. Planted now and on into fall, they will put down strong root systems and be ready to leap into full growth and bloom for you next spring! Check through my perennial listings and see what you can use as fill-ins in bare places in your gardens.

I also have a good stock of full, healthy herb plants to add for culinary or medicinal use. I have one of the largest selections of herb plants in middle Tennessee. There is no need to travel to Nashville or Huntsville for those less common herb plants! And my plants are grown and nurtured right here in Coffee County, not in another state and shipped in to the big box store.

If you don’t have a place for herb plants, but you still want a stock of fresh herbs for culinary or medicinal use, please check out my Fresh Cut Herbs.

Periwinkle and Pine: We are excited to showcase our new beautiful Lavender and Peony wreath, and our pretty summer Periwinkle Berry and Rose wreath. Every wreath in our shop is lovingly handmade.

Trinity Rose Micro Dairy: We are happy to offer raw cows milk from our Jersey cow. “Zoe” is tested A2 / A2 protein which may be easier for people with milk allergies to digest. Our girls are on pasture full time and get a non-GMO & organic mix of grain while being milked. All milk sold as labeled for pet consumption only as per Tennessee State law.

Arrington Bread Co: We make our sourdough with simple, quality ingredients and our 88-year-old sourdough starter, which we named Josh Dough-ban because we raise him uuuuuup!

We offer flavors like jalapeño cheddar, Parmesan garlic, strawberry cheesecake, and of course our classic plain! Plus many more. We look forward to baking for you!

NOTICE…Several of our Meat Producers are offering sales, be sure to check them out.

Flying S Farms: Several great vegetables to offer this week and our Chickens have slowed down again, they hate the heat! Weather plays a big factor in how they lay their beautiful Brown Eggs. Sour Dough Bread this week plain or fresh ground wheat. Unfortunately no sweet breads, set back is due to Ben’s changing treatment schedules! He is doing fine, they are adding more follow up test and so far so good.
