Honey Pecan Pie

Ingredients

Prepared 9 inch pie crust
1 cup
Honey
1/2 cup
Light corn syrup
1/4 cup
Salted butter
3 large
Eggs
1 1/2 cups
Chopped pecans
2 teaspoons
Vanilla extract
Ice cream for serving (if desired)
Step by Step Instructions
- Arrange pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate, and crimp or scallop the edges as desired.
- Heat the honey and corn syrup in a saucepan over medium heat, then whisk in the butter and vanilla. Whisk in the eggs, but do not let them scramble.
- Stir the pecans into the saucepan, then pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake at 325 for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool, then serve with ice cream if desired.
