Stewed Heirloom Tomatoes and Okra

Serves: as many of a s few as you like
Ingredients
1 to 2 lbs
heirloom tomatoes
1 to 1 1/2 lbs
okra
1 or 2 cloves
fresh garlic
2 or 3 each
fresh chili peppers
1 tea spoon
sugar
salt and pepper tt
as much or as little as you like
Step by Step Instructions
- in a sauce pot add cut heirloom tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, sugar, salt and peppe
- cook down the tomatoes till they are they are mush
- allow sause to thicken some, I like to cook the tomato mix for atleast 30 minuets to cook out the water
- add the okra and simmer for 30 minuets or more. If you cook to long the okra will get mushy.
